On True Sport channel 102 Horse Riding Series every Wednesday at 7pm. Repeated at 11pm and weekend mornings.  (They came to film at Phoenix Riding Academy in May 2011.)

 JANUARY =

Saturday 9^th

Thailand Pony Club E and D Testing at Phoenix Riding Academy, Bang Na.

Saturday 16^th

Unmounted Rally to Thai Polo Open, near Pattaya. Lunch time onwards.

Saturday 30^th

Unmounted Rally to Jane Loper’s Racing Stables (half day trip) near Phanat Nikon.

 

FEBRUARY =

Saturday 13^th/14^th TPC Own-a-Pony Camp

At Phoenix Riding Academy.

Maximum 10 persons.

A 24 hr camp at the stables taking care of your own allocated pony.

Saturday 20^th Pink Polo at Thai Polo Club near Pattaya

Lunch and afternoon watching Polo. Small donation (500 baht) on entry for Charity. Pony Club members to participate in mounted fashion show!

Carpooling from Phoenix Riding Academy departing at noon.!

MARCH

Saturday 28^th – Mounted. ‘Easter Eggstravaganza’

Class 1) Fancy Dress

Class 2) Treasure Hunt – Find the Golden Horse Shoe!

Class 3) Clear Round Jumping.

Rosettes for all!

APRIL

Sunday 24^th - Mounted

‘Songkran Special Wet-and-Wild Gymkana Games morning.

Rosettes for all!

 

MAY

Sunday 9^th

Unmounted Rally to Mahidol Veterinary Equine Department 10am-12.00pm.

Followed by International Buffet Lunch at Royal Orchid Sheraton.

14^th/15^th

24 hr Pony Club Camp at Phoenix Riding Academy.

Including E, D and D+ Training and testing. Plus farewell  to 3 Thailand Pony Club families.

 

JUNE

Thursday 3^rd June

TPC Yummy Mummy luncheon, at BACCO.

Sunday 6^th

Clear round and simple dressage at NESC.

Saturday 12th

Introduction to Pony Club at Horse Shoe Point afternoon.

-Brief talk by Olympic short list New Zealand Event Rider Emily Butcher. Past Pony Club Member.

-Practical Demonstration by USA Farrier Michael Sarno: How to take off a Horse Shoe... Mr Sarno will guide you through the correct procedure of taking off a Horse shoe by yourself!

-PC lesson format demo.

-Dinner and swim at HSP, then home.

-3x D Test and above Pony Clubbers needed to join Charlie and Lucy for the above.

 

September – November =  E and D Test Training Rally’s with Lucy Castle (x7 weeks on Saturday mornings, plus mock exam on 6^th Nov  with Charlie Nichols and Test on 13^th Nov with Philippa Boyd).

November 20^th and 21^st  (sat/sun) Camp at PRA. The third 24 hr Camp this year! X10 Pony Clubbers booked.

November 24^th (weds) Yummy Mummys Nite In: Pony Club Mums Nite In. Lucy’s house 8pm. Bring a bottle and a dish to share.

December 11^th (sat) Christmas Rally Special: Fancy Dress, Musical Santa Sacks, Narrow Tyres Chase Me Charlie, Horse and Hound jump relay, Family Santa Sleigh tow round obstacle course! Farewell to First Year of TPC at PRA 2010. Thankyou to Proprietor, Committee and Instructors.

 

Rallys and Events for January - June 2011

-     Jan 8^th 2011 = Busy Bee Tidy up and stables/arena painting day at PRA

-        Jan-Feb = 5 week Training Rally’s and Testing for D+ and C Test, including Riding and Road Safety. Testing with visiting Hong Kong Jockey Club Examiner.

-        Sat March 5^th = Visit to Jane Loper’s Racing Stables at Phanat Nikon

-        Sat March 12^th =Royal Bangkok Turf Track Tour.

-        Saturday 26^th March = Pony Picnic Ride!

-        April 6^th  = Dressage Equitation Rally - Learn to ride and judge a Dressage Test!

-        May 15th= Equine Veterinary Hospital Rally to Mahidol University.

-        May 18^th = TV True Sport Camera Crew to film and interview Pony Clubbers.

-        June 4^th/5th = 24hr Camp with ODE. Invitation to Riders from HKPC.

-        June 11^th/12^th = Rally/Camp to Thai Polo Club, near Pattaya, sleep over, stables tour, polo lesson and practice, cross country course walk, farrier demo/lecture, vet talk.
